I think this list is mostly dead on. Carmelo has the talent to be that piece but I think what you would have to give up to get him may be too much for a contending team. I think if a team like Dallas were too trade for him, they would be top heavy and not as deep or as complete a team as they are now. Not worth it for half a season of Melo in my opinion.
