Ryan Reynolds, Scarlett Johansson file for divorce


(PEOPLE.com (http://people.com/)) -- Just a few weeks after their separation was announced, Ryan Reynolds has begun the process of officially ending his two-year marriage to Scarlett Johansson.
The actor, 34, filed for divorce from Johansson (http://www.people.com/people/scarlett_johansson?cnn=yes), 26, Thursday in Los Angeles Superior Court, documents show. Johansson filed her divorce response simultaneously.
Both sides cite December 14 as their date of separation. Neither is seeking spousal support.
A source told PEOPLE recently that the couple grew apart (http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20450833,00.html?cnn=yes) under the strain of managing two thriving careers, adding that the two are splitting on good terms.
They were married in a private ceremony in Canada in 2008.
