Tomorrow's game has me highly nervous. Much like the Clippers game a month ago, tomorrow's matchup with the Lakers has all the makings of a trap game.
The Spurs are indeed professionals and have tons of veteran experience, but their professionalism does not make them resilient to the natural tendency to overlook an inferior opponent when a game of a much larger magnitude is the very next game you have to play.
If they come out with the Dallas Mavericks on their minds instead of the Los Angeles Lakers, they will be in for a dog fight.
In reality, this game is a tune up, sure, but the Lakers have enough talent to beat anyone on any given night, which is a point I hope Popovich drives home in the pre-game.
