I'm as excited as anyone by our win over the Lakers. Count me as one of those that thought the Lakers would come out on fire, ready to get their season back on track against us. I thought their size advantage would hurt us on the boards but it turns out our scrambling defense won out.
The Spurs won despite Manu struggling offensively and Tim playing the worst offensive game of his career. That says a lot about our bench.
But I have to say that the Lakers issues are deep. They are playing awful right now. They look tired and drained and are playing without any cohesion. I hope Dirk plays on Thrusday. I'd like to see us take them down with their full roster.
