Looked perturbed, annoyed, and crestfallen. Almost as if we had just lost the game. His eyes even looked kinda red. I bet Popavich bitched the ever living shit out of him after this game. Parker played total jackass ball and I can't believe Pop left him in for the closer.

I'm sure the whole team got ripped after this game. The Spurs were horrible.

have to agree here. this game was tough to watch.

They went collectively into 'tard mode on offense. If it wasn't for Neal's shooting and Hill attacking the zone this would have been even uglier.

Defensively...some flukey shots, but some shitty rotations.

How many times did he say "aggressive"?

lol I remember when he used to say "Confidence" a lot.

This. Sloppy all around except for that stretch to end the first and open the second quarter.

It's been his "go to" word since the dawn of time it seems.

How many times did he say "aggressive"?

Honest-to-god Shoog, I don't think he said it once. He was very laconic, sounded annoyed by every question, and even failed to give Gary Neal the proper props when asked about him. He was wanting to get the fuck out of the locker room you could just tell.

The fact that he did not say "Aggressive" is very telling. I'm telling you it looked like he had just got punched in the stomach.

Maybe Ducks has a point.

Maybe Parker was just pissed cuz Kidd completely outplayed him tonight.

My opinion is Pop ripped into him 2003-style because he played like a total jack ass tonight and we won despite him.

I remember in 2004, he started saying the word "smack" (as in "Jason Terry talks a lot of smack."). It was like he just learned what it meant, so he used it every interview for a few weeks in a row. Then he went back to "aggressive" and "definitely."

I think it was probably a combination of things... He likes tearing Kidd apart and he didn't do that. The Spurs (and him particularly) played like crap. Pop probably ripped him during and after the game. And he is a little sick (Manu is spreading his illness around :lol).

Yup plenty to work on here; overall the Spurs were at a lesser level compared to their play against the Lakers.

Still the Spurs will take as many W's as they can. I also don't see Jason Kidd being able to keep up with Parker in a playoffs series but damn he had a HOF night tonight and added another triple double for his career. His chasedown block and bailout 3 :depressed

He seems to have been doing a lot more jump-passing lately. Maybe Pop reminded him that people learn to not do that in junior high.

Two words: zone defense

I don't think Pop ripped into anyone. I think this team knows what they do wrong and don't need Pop to rip into them. I am sure Pop had a few choice adjectives, but these guys are veterans. Besides, you cannot play your best game every game. If you play like shit and win, that's a big plus. We've done that about 10 times already, if not more.

It is what it is... next game.

Pop looked like he was in a bad mood before the game even started, so I'd hate to see how he was after the game...

he does so many stupid shit when the other team plays zone and he attacks and tries to create something out of nothing which leads into a stupid turnover...

the same thing can be said about GINO, these 2 clowns when they start making consecutive turnovers it just makes a bigger hole to dig out of for the team...

as for our shooters like they can clank a good 2-3 shots b4 they can get going, but when the shit hits the fan pop better dig them out and go motoboat on that asses....

today was just another game, a fkn trap to lose...tp, bonner, rj, blair all deserve the criticism this game...

I'm sure the whole team got ripped after this game. The Spurs were horrible.

Even sans Dirk the Mavs are talented and that roster would win 50 games.

Yet the Spurs went up to Dallas and won easily.

What's to be upset about?

and "definitely"

No, it's "oh definitely, definitely". That's his verbal crutch and go-to response to virtually every question.

His interviews are hilarious. Sometimes he doesn't even let the media finish a question before jumping in with "oh definitely, definitely". As if he knew what they asked when he didn't even take the time to listen to the entire question. :lol

My favorite Parkerism is how he says "great". He replaces the "gr" with a "q" sound so it sounds like he says Kuwait.

But anyways, that interview sounded pretty standard to me. I'm sure he was a bit annoyed that after a decade, Kidd finally had some success posting him up. Up until this game, TP had always taken that supposed advantage away from Kidd.

Pop was the one who sounded especially mad after the game. Probably the maddest he's been all year. He basically said the Mavs deserved the win.

Tony's interviews are just like everyone else (but Manu). They obviously teach these guys how to give canned responses.

I mean, you could just make up the responses and no one would know the difference.

"I just wanted to come out and be aggressive, that's what the coaches have been teaching us, just stay aggressive on defense and our offense will come"

"Yeah, I thought we played pretty aggressive on both ends of the floor tonight, unlike last night when we only played half court ball because they used the other half for the trampoline competition"

"Uncanny" "Unbelievable" "Uncanny" "Unbelievable" "Uncanny" Unbelievable"
"Agressive" "Uncanny" "Smack" "Uncanny" "Smack"

Hot MILF's like Erin Barry will always choose "Agressive", Unbelievable" and "smack" over "Uncanny"

Sorry Brent.

Because Parker has helped set the bar high for the Spurs, hes gonna get called out for a bad game. Not worried, Parker will make amends next game.

I noticed that as well. And Blair has to learn that you only evaluate the play of your teammates as excellent - not your own. It would have been enough if he said he played pretty good ...

The James era has players calling their own play excellent. El BJ has been doing that for years.

He's basically still a kid. He will eventually say "I played how I am supposed to, how I should play every game".

Funny that Parker had such a crappy game, yet his stats are close to his career average... just shows what the Spurs fan community has come to expect from him on a nightly basis.
