You're bigger than R.C., so your daughter must have some size genes going for her.
Let me know when she needs an agent.

Visit the missions if your into the culture thing. Or perhaps the institute of Texan cultures. Lots of cowboy stuff there that I remeber. Course that was years ago. Congratulations on your baby. Baby spurs jersey should already be hanging in the closet. Unless yall don't use closets?

If you are returning the car at the same location then look at Enterprise rent-a-car. Otherwise I often found deals from Avis at IAH. I usually look for a SUV so I don't know if they have Mustangs.
The drive from IAH to SA is not bad just have some small bills/change ready for the Houston turnpike road tolls.
The best downtown hotel in SA is IMO the Valencia. A bit pricey but they do have special offers quite often, if your lucky enough to catch one of those it's well worth it. If you're on a tight budget forget about the riverwalk, go away from downtown - you'll save a lot of money and you have a car anyway, so you can sleep wherever you want.
You'll find some cute baby gear at the Spurs shop in the At&T center. :tu
And last but not least: Congratulations on your new baby!

Congratulations, JP! I'm sure you will have lots to see and do here in San Antonio.
If you want to go to something quick regarding the Alamo, the River Center IMAX theatre shows "Alamo: Price of Freedom" (37 minutes) about every hour, on the hour. It is walking distance from the Alamo. Most people are disappointed when they actually see the small size of the chapel of the Alamo. So the movie works for some people in combination with a visit to the Alamo.
If your dad wants cowboy gear, the famous bootmaker Lucchese started in San Antonio 130 years ago. You can get reasonably priced Lucchese (or other brands) boots plus hats, belts, etc. at stores like Cavenders Boot City or Sheplers. Then you can take your camera out to North Star Mall near the airport and take photos in front of "The World's Largest Pair of Cowboy Boots" (40 feet tall) http://www.roadsideamerica.com/attract/images/tx/TXSANcowboyboots.jpg

Awesome baby! Horrible name choice though, especially for a girl...
you know its a french name..and even from the westside of france...so for you it means nothing and sounds maybe horrible...like when in france we hear kobe, shaq, kevin, amare or justin biender..lol
if i had a boy, there was chances we call him David...not because the admiral (and i know all my friends will not believe me..) but because we like this name

Congratulations JP!
When you are looking for rental cars, be sure that you get one with unlimited mileage (kilometers) because it's about 200 miles (300+ km) each way from Houston to San Antonio. Some of the low-priced companies may limit you to 100 miles per day with a substantial per-mile charge ($0.10-$0.15) for every mile over the limit.
Very few US rental car companies will guarantee you a particular make of car. You rent by size and then get whatever they have on the lot when you show up (kind of like how my supposed Mercedes B-class in Germany ended up being a freaking Ford Focus when I got there). Hertz tends to have more Ford products, but also tends to be one of the highest-priced companies. Budget also has a lot of Fords and is somewhat more reasonable.
With regards to Slomo's comment about the Houston toll roads, almost all the major firms now have their cars set up to go through the express toll lanes, avoiding the need to stop and drop change at the booths.
You might want to take your father to Mission San Jose, if he enjoys history. No cowboys but they did work with the native Americans (e.g. "indians") in the 1700s. See http://www.nps.gov/saan/planyourvisit/sanjose.htm for more. Besides the traditional River Walk, be sure you visit the new Museum Reach segment. See http://www.sanantonioriver.org/ for more details.
Enjoy your visit to San Antonio - March is usually a good time to visit with comfortable temperatures and plants just starting to bloom after the winter.
A town named "Bandera" isn't too far from SA and styles itself the "Cowboy Capital of the World." You might have some luck there. http://www.banderacowboycapital.com/

God, what a dumb post. Who are you to judge someone else's choice for their baby, especially from France??
Anyways, congrats on the beautiful girl! San Antonio is a great tourist place and you'll find lots to do here. Good luck and Go Spurs! :toast

So says the uncultured never been outside the US and probably Texas 15 year old.
Please, get some life experience, go visit other countries and cultures not just the shit holes you probably have only frequented in your 15 years of life. Take a summer off, go backpacking in Europe, read history, learn a foreign language. Just saying...
