Portland is 8-3 without Roy and I'm starting to think they're better off without him. I was at the game tonight and they have better ball movement and a much more creative offensive game plan with Roy out. Aldridge is playing at an Allstar level, and Wesley Mathews is making up for 90% of what Roy brought. Also, Miller never played well with Roy.

I don't think Portland is more than a 2nd round playoff team without Roy and Oden. But they might surprise some people and still salvage their season. It is also interesting to see how some teams play better as a team when their superstar is out. Instead of having 4 players stand around watching while one player goes isolation and takes a difficult shot, you get more ball movement and more open shots
