What habits did/do you find hard to break when moving in with a girl?

We've all lived with a girl (or a guy, if you're a woman) at some point in our lives and needless to say, it's a complete change of culture for some. If I don't end up going down to Argentina or Columbia in the next couple months than I'm going to move in with my friend. She's cool and I've known her for years, but--like with any chick--it's still different. I like having a roommate, but I'm not looking forward to having to keep my shit together at home. :lol

What habits did you find hardest to break when you moved in with someone?

-Laundry and dishes...I do them once a week
-Cleaning hair out of (or off of) the sink after I shave (my face).
-Putting the seat down.
-In the morning, I love to take a piss while in the shower...I know, weird...but it feels so refreshing.

At night I crank the A/C to the point where you can hang meat in the apt.
In the summer I sleep butt-nekked, and if I need to use the bathroom or I have the munchies, I satisfy said urges while in the nude.

Cleaning up after shaving was one for me. And still is since we got a place with two sinks in the master bathroom. Really, most of those basic sort of cleaning kind of things since my only places prior to moving in my wife were dorm rooms and a house with a few other college aged friends. Where I came from all you needed was a clean clothes pile, a dirty clothes pile, and if you had anything fancy that got hung up in the event you had to look presentable someday.

I'm OCD and clean as hell already, but I turn that shit up to eleven when I'm living with someone. Also, I act more adult; I get ready for bed every night, smoke way less weed, eat breakfast, don't like, wear a robe and sweatpants combo whenever I'm home, et al.

I'm single for the first time in months and I've spent a lot of nights getting fucked up on whiskey and passing out on the couch with a 360 controller in my hand, only to wake up at 4:30 and drag my decrepit ass into bed. That's the kind of stuff I don't ever do if I have a woman in my life. It's great.

I think there's a huge difference in moving in with a girl as in a relationship, or just a roommate. I had the impression you meant roommate, not girlfriend; but for a roommate the hardest thing for me to work thru was the kitchen ie sharing the fridge, dirty dishes, etc.

Of course there's many more factors that come into play when it's a relationship, but for the most part you're no longer in your lazy comfort zone.

If we're being honest, the ONLY time you can be friends with a girl is if they're dating a friend of yours (or if you're not attracted to them and vice-versa.. otherwise one "falls in love" with the other). Even then, you better trust your friends and girlfriend/wife.
