I think he said rape, but it wasn't Parker, it was Udrih. Not that it matters; all those European point guards look alike.

I liked the Brent Barry line...

"Brent Barry...one of the greatest rebounders...in his family."

I do think that the term "rape" is used too much in sports discussions. Not that I actually believe that anyone is advocating rape, but come on, guys, it really trivializes the trauma that real rape victims have suffered. Seriously.

I just now realized that I had almost 100% blocked out walton's and stupid a smith's voices.. .cause I didn't hear that last night, and it's the kinda thing that would perk my ears.

I expected a huge outcry from N.O.W., but then I remembered that they only watch WNBA games. ;)

Bill Walton probably deserves this and a lot more criticism for what he says on TV as a color commentator. IMO, he seeems to enjoy saying controversial things.

There was once a Bill Walton, who played at UCLA and later in the NBA, who was (and may still be) the best passing big man in the middle. He studdard terribly and was therefore seldom on camera or being interviewed. He desreves credit for overcoming this disability as a grown adult. I never liked him, but only because of the teams for whom he played. He finished his playing days with the Celtics. His teams were mostly winning teams (UCLA, Lakers, Celtics).

He knows about winning.

I heard "rape" and I thought he was right. Obviously I did not associate that word in a sexual context.

Walton never played for the Lakers. He played for the Blazers, Celtics, and I think the Clippers.
