Pulling for the Jets... Wouldn't mind playing them.

The only thing good about Manning winning would be if we eliminated them on the way to the SB. Still, I'd get that satisfaction from beating the Jets, and wouldnt be half as nervous.

Colts lack of a run game will hurt them. I don't know if it will hurt them as much as it hurt the Saints but it's not good.

I'm cheering for the Colts, just to see the meltdown around the city..the meltdown after the Giants' choke was funny enough, the Jets losing would complete it..

Now do your thing Manning.
14-13 80 yards to go.

I think Colt should mix run n pass.

I don't agree with this. Although the Jets might be a more complete team, if the Pats score and get up early, I don't see their offense coming back. Manning on the other hand...

if they had an incompletion the kick would have been made with 30 seconds instead of 2 seconds left, but the jets completed the pass and basically nullified the timeout strategy.

Doesn't matter. The Colts were trying to save time, knowing that the Jets had a TO in their back pocket still. Whether it's a smart move or not is debatable, but the Jets were in FG range there. Jets could've just run down the clock without the Colts taking a TO.

As he should be. That timeout was one of the more retarded coaching decisions. Peyton should be firing him sometime within the next month, tbh.

it was a stupid fucking idea. you are most likely just using this as another reason to be a dumbass and bash manning

he is so disrespecful of his coaches desicions :cry :cry he should just shut up and do what coachie asks him to do :cry :cry

i went out to a bar with mono, and obviously mono isnt one to defend manning much, but even he knew what a fucking dumb idea it was to call that timeout and knew that manning had every right to be pissed over that.

How the fuck could I be bashing Manning there? Someone's a little defensive.

I was just explaining what I'm guessing was the coach's reasoning. I didn't say it was a good or bad call... it's not like Caldwell is known as some coaching genius, after all.

The Colts at that point were kinda screwed either way. I probably wouldn't have taken the timeout, as they probably would've had to burn a down with a spike.

Tbh Peyton has been the OC for quite a while now. Any HC the colts have is to take care of special teams and the defensive side of the ball.
More importantly, I'm not sure hiring a HC that is not low key (like Dungy or Caldwell) would match well with Peyton's ego (I'm calling the shots, everybody better take notice that I'm running this show)

It was only second down. The Jets were rushing around. They might have just spiked the ball to stop the clock; ran a safe running play; and used their TO to end the game on a FG attempt. No way the Colts were getting the ball back. All they did was give the Jets time to run a good play on a second down, instead of a rushed one or a wasted one. Otherwise, it definitely would have been a longer FG attempt for the Jets.
