They'll be facing major trades and team drama fueled by Kobe's volume shooting.

I think Miami is looking like they're going to come out of the East right now. Many stuff can happen until then. The biggest problem I see with Boston is staying healthy. Everybody seem to be banged up on that team. An injury at the wrong time could derail them.

You messed up the poll by putting Eastern conference teams in there.

They will be watching a Spurs Magic finals that networks and Stern will cry about the ratings but true hardcore fans will see a great finals.

If healthy, it'll be the Celtics. That is a huge IF though, and I am not expecting it. That means Miami comes out of the East.

Orlando is looking tough right now as well.

A healthy Heat or Celtics team would beat them in 6 games max

I am not sold on the Magic. Yes they did improve but they lack a backup center and I am not sold on that D. If they can address the backup bigman situation and convince me that they can play good d on a consistent basis, I will start to take them much more seriously.

If the Bulls could find a way to land JR Smith and not have to give up much, they would be downright scary.

Rose/Smith/Deng/Boozer/Noah
Watkins/Korver/Johnson/Gibson/Thomas.

Smith as a starter is bad news imo...dude chucks it more than Kobe on crack

Then Smith can come off the bench and they can start someone else at the 2. The Bulls need a perimeter playmaker next to Rose. Smith I feel is the best/cheapest option.

Lakers wont get through round 2. Dallas will finish them off for us in a long series then we get to murder a tired Dallas team.

At least thats my hope.

edit: Also... holy shit 15-22 is in the top 8 in the eastern division... thats just horrible.

I agree with someone that predicts Dallas if not the Spurs will end the Lakers repeat run. I believe that Kobe Bryant & Derek Fisher are the only players left on that team with championship aspiration. Gasol to me looks like he simply doesn't care anymore and IMO this has something to do with not getting enough touches and opportunities. Mind you, I dont think Gasol is a selfish player but rather the opposite. My take on this is Pau has grew weary of how his team is abandoning the post game repeatedly. Just last night, I was tracking how many shots Bynum and Gasol had in the 1st half and I was shocked that they both only attempted 6 FG's combined.

Without Gasol at his best and Kobe unable to destroy teams with his offense the Lakers are pretty much just another playoff team.

If the Lakers get knocked out of the playoffs, it could spell bad news for Bynum, since Stern will be looking for a way to force D. Howard to L.A., Stern will be hiding in the parking lot with a baseball bat ready to Tonya Harding his ass. Out goes Bynum, in comes Howard. Of course with Bynum's luck, he'll slip on a gummy bear while trying to run away and blow both of his knees out, making it that much easier for stern
