To be fair, Parker is only 1-4. He is assisting well, but a lot of that is due to guys hitting a lot of perimeter shots.

TP is not playing that well imo and maybe Pop is trying to find him some extra rest. TP has been listless for a while now.

Again, the Spurs hit 73% from 3PT land. Spurs just shot really well. Some credit goes to TP obviously, but the Spurs and TP aren't playing that great imo. They are shooting very well and playing solid, but they are just raining 3's.

When I watch games, I judge whether it's good or bad by what the Spurs do that is sustainable and reliable.

If you are playing good defense, rebounding and taking care of the ball, that equals good basketball that will win you a lot of games.

If you are just scorching hot from 3, but losing in a lot of the other, fundamental areas, there is a lot to work on.

But again, this is the Wolves. The Spurs have played them now for the fourth time and it is hard to get up for a team like this in the middle of the season.

You heard the Clips guys? They are very generous to the other team.

The Clippers TV announcers, Ralph Lawler and Mike Smith, are far and away the best in the league. They're super knowledgeable, hilarious, and they make it a ton of fun to watch Clipper games despite what the home team's record may be. They're very honest about players. If a guy is stinking it up, they'll say it. Or they'll joke about it.

They rake on each other all the time - a lot of good-natured ribbing. And they love the Spurs, too. They're super complimentary of the Spurs and their organization.

For mine, the Clips and Knicks guys are the best.

Clipps guys are pretty cool. They seem to have accepted that they're likely to lose on any given night, and don't freak out so much when a play or call doesn't go the Clippers way. They also will voice appreciation for players from the opposing team.

And since we're on the topic of the Clippers, can I just add: Holy moly, Baron Davis is disinterested and unmotivated. We're is the Golden State madman from playoff past? Did this Baron Davis eat the old Baron Davis? Davis should give his money back. Davis should be heckled by a courtside Donald Sterling.

RuffnReadyOzStyle

He should be energized by Griffin, and the other young Clippers. The Clippers are not as stanky as their current record. Even just Kaman getting healthy and to the same form he had at the end of last season would be enough for dramatic improvement in Clippers play.

That's what I was thinking - he's used to being the man, it must be a blow to the ego to have to start all over again. But I'm sure he has the NBA in him and we'll see why he came over... just not sure how soon we'll see it. Probably next year.
