Minor injury but he will not play per ESPN - anyone heard this could be more than that? (Please no hoping from the Bonner hate group for anything serioius, but it could open up minutes for Tiago. Well maybe, maybe not on that one.)

Bone bruise suffered the other night against the Bucks. Probably day to day.

Probably not a big deal. When you bang knees hard they take a while to heal back up.

I'd rather not be playing Antonio McDyess in this blowout game.

Goes to show you, if we lose Bonner...all of a sudden this team is not nearly as deep as people think. We need another big IMO. Or a swing to play the 4 spot.

I'd call up Cousins from Austin, if Bonner is gonna be out an extended amount of time.

just dont be pussys and play splitter heavier minutes, even if it means dropping a couple games. it'll pay off in the long run

THere it is. But wait, Cousin can't chuck up shots from the arc, so Pop probably wouldn't have any use for him. :lol

Yeah Splitter really stunk it up out there. He takes a charge well, but he defers to that instead of just staying in front of the ball.

Just precautionary probably....no need to play the 2nd half anyway with a big lead....

Bonner said he's fine but pop said he's questionable for Sunday...

Popovich said the pain could keep Bonner out of Sunday’s home game against the Nuggets.

Bonner suffered the injury in the fourth quarter of Wednesday’s game in Milwaukee, where his 10 fourth-quarter points sparked the Spurs to a 91-84 victory.

“He’s just going to go on pain tolerance,” Popovich said.

The red-headed Bonner admitted his tolerance for pain falls far short of heroic level.

“Redheads are scientifically proven to have a lower pain tolerance due to more nerve endings,” he said. “I read that somewhere.”

Would not suprise me to see bonner out for the next 2-3 games. The spurs have the depth and need to use it for minor injuries like this.
