He could cover sports and current events and stuff. I would listen. He's fucking hilarious if you think about it.
Team him up with a deep-voiced normal guy who sets up alley oops for him, and JVG would be radio gold

I'd listen. Love when he commentates. He has good coaching knowledge of the game too, obviously.

He is much, much more intelligent when it comes to basketball than it seems at first listen. Most of the shit that he says is so brilliant because it's funny on the surface but true at the same time.

One of few coaches who appreciate the Brutal Effectiveness that is the Spurs. Mike Breen, however, is an assclown who says this team doesn't have enough sizzle. Open your got damn eyes.

JVG is good, but to me he seemed to enjoy constantly reminding us that Duncan isn't the same player he was 10 years ago in '09 & '10 seasons. I just figured he's still a little butthurt for the last 12 years.

Unfortunately he's usually teamed w/mark jackson who's one of the worst in the business.
