Mavs will be there when it's all said and done. They may have to make a trade now with Butler down -- I think he's much more important to that team than just his output on the floor -- and who the hell knows with Roddy, but I seriously doubt they won't pull out of this sooner rather than later.

Honestly, I'd rather them get a 2 or 3 seed. Dallas and LA are the teams that will give the Spurs the most trouble regardless of seeding, I'd just assume only have to play one of them and not have to play Dallas in a 1-8 or 2-7 matchup -- even if I'm pretty confident in the outcome as a Spurs' fan, the rivalry won't allow it to be an easy series . . .
