Interesting halftime tidbits:

D-Whistle - 6/7 FTAs (D-Whistle = NBA manufactured superstar)
Bulls - 4/6 FTAs
RuPaul - 3/12 FGAs, 4 rebs (No Noah available either)

cHeat 53, Bulls 48. Go Bulls!

And so does Stern, BSPN, the refs, idiots like you... what's your point?

D-Whistle minus the FTAs (which also equates to foul trouble for the opposition - which weakens their defensive effort) ain't shit. Real talk.

Usually a player who attacks the rim is prone to get fouled. A player with Wade's athleticism even more so. Come on you can't be this stupid. I know your pussy doesn't hurt this much when a jump shooter like Kobe gets fouled as much as he does.

Players who attack the rim more get more calls. It's ridiculous to a point sometimes but the offensive aggressor is usually the beneficiary of most calls. So those skilled at slashing, creating shots and those who have multi-dimensional games get more calls.

What part can't LkrFan get from that?

Look you dumbfuck, that is true, but not for Kobe. Kobe has more in his offensive repertoire than everybody in the league - bar none. Before Shaq (one of the referee's fave 5 - all time) started opening his jealous ass yap and after the Colorado incident (Kobe "raped" an "innocent" white girl that had 3 different strands of DNA in her panties), your same post applied to Kobe as well. Kobe still goes to the rim (mostly for layups and seldom for dunks, admittedly like he used to), but he still goes down there. Matter of fact, he is often in the post (where the majority of fouls should be called) because his post game is better than every non-center in the league (bar none). But what's the use of him going down there if he is not going to get the calls? You see the shit. He is mugged, raped, grabbed, on the regular. And his well documented injury history speaks to this fact.

Explain to me that a player like Manure goes to the rim more than Kobe, but suffers less injuries. Explain that - if you can.

Ok, seriously, how many broken fingers has Manure suffered in his NBA career? One? Two? Three? Here's a hint: None. And for the record, you don't always get awarded FTAs when you are fouled. So the above bullshit you posted means jack to me. It's when fouls are called that matters. Sometimes Kobe gets calls, but mostly he doesn't.

So you joined Spurstalk in 1997 or did Timmy join the Spurs in 2007?

There was no Spurstalk pre-Timmy (I think). Kori can answer when Spurstalk opened their doors, but I don't think I was part of the original cast.
I used to post in SpursReport before finding this cesspool. :lol

Yeah, but I think the dropoff is 2x as bad for the Heat. Even with Wade, they've been having trouble closing out it seems.
Lebron and Wade are the top 2 players in the league so losing them is pretty bad tbh. However, Wade played by himself with scrubs for years and didn't have trouble closing out.

True, but since they had to spend so much for LeBron and Bosh, the bench looks scrubbier than usual.

Why Chalmers would have the ball at a critical situation is beyond me

Chicago also almost pulls a funny one with that steal/turnover that ended in Wade's 3... it was an unbelievable ending though

Once Miller is going and if Haslem does return before the playoffs as expected, the bench will be fine.

Many mistakes made, a timeout not called is one.

True, but he has been losing for 4 straight years...so much that he summoned his superfriends for a chance to try to dethrone Kobe. Minutes after Kobe won #5, I think D-Whistle said something about him "feeling sick." - was it a Tweet?...meanwhile a few weeks later in Ohio.. "The Decision" was (officially) made...but we know it was made long before that. :toast

Fun fact: Kobe is the only superstar player in NBA history that not only won a ring, but repeated without a HOF teammate (he 3peats with one though). I may have to change this post should the Lakers ring this year because that will put Pau in the HOF too (the guy that was 0-12 in the playoffs without Kobe). But we know Kobe doesn't make players better. :blah

Aim high.

Probably by design by coach Thibbs. I would rather see a scrub be put in that same situation than their best player. Good coaching by the Bulls.

What a horrible excuse of a game for the Miami Heat. The Bulls were just more hungrier than this team. With or without Lebron, Derrick Rose wasn't scared of anybody.

I'll make a prediction and say that Rose will be the best PG two years from now. He's such a dominant floor leader and is able to shoot the outside jumper with a man in front of his face. I don't like to hype up players, but this is someone who can really resurrect da Bulls.

Major coaching fail at the end not running some sort of double screen for Wade to get at least a semi open look.

Now the Karma tweet appears to be pretty funny. The Heat had won 21/22 and were curbstomping the league when he tweeted that. Since then 0-3 and 2/3 of the Big 3 go down with injuries (albeit minor).
