80 points in a half... Unreal. Even the Lakers weren't as brutal as this to the Cavs. The Cavs just couldn't able to make one even with a gun pointed at their heads.

The Cavs are scoring points today but they are down 30+ :lol

Nuggets have been running up the score a lot lately...
They did the same to Phoenix and Miami...

Man, leave the Cavs alone. They have suffered enough. Denver will soon be the new Cavs anyway when Anthony leaves. (karma).

See, that's where you are wrong. The Cavs were left to die because their stupid front office had no Plan B, C... etc. The Nuggets have a plan in hand.

I'm gonna say 129-76

Well.... except that Melo didn't string the team along for 3 years (as part of the big 3's plan) and waver at every turn resulting in other stars not wanting to commit or getting his coach fired. The Nugs will be fine...

Denver has scored 130 in their last two... wouldn't surprise me they match again today

I think they put 140 on the Cavs today

Carmelo isn't nearly as valuable to the Nuggets as Lebron was to the Cavs..the Nuggets also have a lot more talent than the Cavs did, and they will also have a plan to get more talent in return..

More importantly, Nuggets fans will get over Anthony pretty quickly..he's overrated as a player, and he was a pussy for demanding a trade, while he was under contract..

That remains to be seen. Once you blow up a playoff team what you get in return very seldom takes that team back to the playoffs, if ever.

Correct on all accounts

I agree that Denver would suck without Melo, like Cleveland without LeBron. But would the degree of sucking be as intense as what Cleveland is experiencing right now? Most likely not, because they drew up some sort of safety nets.

What happend to mo williams?

He was never that good to begin with?

If they ever make a basketball version of "Flowers for Algernon" the Cavaliers would play the lead role.

So Bron is more valuable to the Cav's winning nothing than Melo is to the Nugs comming up empty. I'm good with that! :toast

I remember the Cavs franchise and LeBron standing up for this guy as deserving to be in the ASG. Turned out that it's also an addition to a long list of LeBron's mistakes.

If only JR kept his cool all the time, he'd be a franchise player, no lie.

Shame his iq is his shoe size.

The Cavs losing by less then 30 & scoring 99 pts with like 7 players suiting up is basically a win for them IMO. Good win tonight Cle

I like it when I hear fellow Cavaliers fans saying, "We should blow it up!"

It's like, dude, we're rolling out Manny Harris, Alonzo Gee and Samardo Samuels for major minutes. What do you think we're doing already?

Venti Quattro
01-16-2011, 12:17 AM
Manny Harris is the guy who had -57 during the Lakers' 55 point win over the Cavs. lol

LOL JR Smith could be a franchise player? The day JR Smith becomes your teams franchise player, thats the same day Lil Wayne buys the team and hires 50 cent to coach it.

That's exactly right. Can you imagine the package the Cavs could have got back by trading LeBron at the deadline last year. I know it would have been a public relations nightmare short term, but the handwriting was on the wall. Few expected him to return to Cleveland when he wouldn't sign an extension.

Was saying the same after the thursday game. Really this guy makes the game look so easy when he is on. Problem is he makes the game overall harder then it needs to be. He shoots 3's like layups, he can dunk and finish with ANYONE in the NBA ...is an underrated passser and decent defnder when focused and motivated. But I doubt coach Karl (though not his fault) is the coach to get the most from him ...
