for about 2-3 more years, then he'll be a laker tbh.

as long as donald sterling is alive, the clippers' ceiling will always be mediocrity,.

when griffin can hit his jump shots and free throws, he is unstoppable.

Jim O'Brien is an idiot going single coverage with James Posey. He better score 50 points with that matchup

Posey's only played 14 minutes, so maybe this is a last resort strategy.

This kid is incredible.

If it wasn't already obvious that ROY is locked up, you can throw away the key.

I love Griffin but he better be ready next year. Teams and coaches will start designing plays to contain him. I won't be surprised if he has a disappointing year and hits the wall pretty bad next season.

They don't call it a sophomore slump for nothing.

His stats might go down some, but I still expect him to put up good numbers.

Its good for their young career. They're able to drop ridiculous numbers because the Clips are a doormat team.

Not all sophomores have this slump. Most of the time its the flashy players who lacks fundamentals that falls in this trap. My point being, Griffin is one of these dudes.

i'd take second year slump over being boring as batshit.

Speaking about great performance, did you notice the Boris Diaw triple double ? 25 11 11 2 blks 0 turnover.

If he wasn't so lazy Diaw would be an elite nba player

They said the same thing about Duncan. Oops. I wouldn't trade Griffin for any player in the league.

Diaw is a good player, but for some reason the entire Bobcats roster is forgettable to me.

It might be due to the fact that their core roster of players are all similarly very good, but nothing that put's any one of them over the top.

For instance:

Stephen Jackson (Good, but streaky and aging)
Gerald Wallace (Great, athletic, but stats could be better)
Tyrus Thomas (Good, but underachieving athletic big)
D.J. Augustin (Appears good, but is EXTREMELY streaky...low shooting % too often)
Boris Diaw (Good, but lazy)

It could also be the simple fact that they are the Charlotte Bobcats, and they still feel so new and overlooked to me.

That's funny because Lebron James and Kevin Durant both play in the same league.

Griffin is already better than Durant and James is into his eighth season. The only way I'd trade him for James is if I had a championship core to surround him with immediately, and that ain't the Clippers right now.
