You found your towel too soon, I'm sure you would have gotten some great suggestions.

Oddly enough, I've found that you can "brush off" most of the water from the shower with your hands. Just do like you are brushing off dirt or particulate matter.

Not perfect of course, but it gets enough water off ya, so that your clothes can soak up the rest. Your body heat will dry off the clothes eventually.

Yeah, I took the OP seriously. That's just the way I roll.

Don't shower until you get one

In the meantime, douse yourself in cologne

What do i do?

if you are in Lubbock, you just open the window and let the usual 85 mph winds dry you off in seconds.

the down side is that you may lose an appendage.

is that where it all went wrong for you?

I knew better than to open a window in Lubbock.

Mmmmm cattleyards. If you lived in Lubbock, you could probably skip the shower and no one would smell you stink, thereby negating the need to find a towel for a shower you dont' need to bother taking.

It's kinda like that old saw about a tree falling in a forest.

If a person stinks in Lubbock, could anybody tell?

I find a clean t-shirt that I dont like to wear that often and use that as a drying tool in these emergency situations.
