Tough climb for the Clips with their month long road trip but they are a playoff team right now if Baron didn't shit it up to start the season.

Wouldn't it be funny if :flag: pulled a Dallas?

NFW the Spurs lose a 7-game series to any team in the NBA, with the possible exception of the Lakers with HCA.

Spurs with the #1 seed are a fucking LOCK for :lobt2: #5.

Problem is who guards Parker and manu?

Love to see blake vs. duncan that would be a great first round matchup. arguably the greatest PF against the future at the position NBA ...stern would cream his pants ...

Nah. As well as the Clippers are playing well they are still not better than Portland, Denver (with Melo), Phoenix, Houston, New Orleans, and Memphis. Nice dream though...:tu

The Spurs would absolutely rape the Clips, they match up very well with them. Neal, Bonner, RJ, Manu would all go off on them from 3.

Before anyone brings up the loss against them, it was on a back to back in which the Spurs played like shit.

Duncan's legacy would never recover from that.

Just look at what Amare has done to him in the playoffs. Imagine Blake in playoff murder mode.

^ this

Spurs-Clippers would be a short series, giving the Spurs some extra rest for the next round. The Clippers would have the whole offseason to rest. :D

I'm hoping the Nuggets trade Carmelo and fall out of the playoffs, and Memphis gets #7/Portland gets #8..

Do you think the Clippers could win more games than the Spurs did against Phoenix last year?

Blake going off unopposed has to be good for at least 1-2 wins.

Maybe, but the Spurs will still get to 4 wins in that series before the Clips do.

Maybe if they were in the eastern conference hahaa. They'r like 10 games below 500. SA has always owned the Clippers, they beat then like 20 straight time before losing to them recently. The Clippers screwed themselves by not playing as well to start the season. They would probably be atleast .500 right now if Baron wasnt so lazy.

InRareForm

LOL. Spurs in 5

This Clippers team is solid, but they also have quarters where they can't score and they give up huge runs to the other team even when they are up. Give the Spurs offense and Clippers wouldn't have a chance.

I'm curious Blessings, with you being a bandwagon fan, what happens if the Lakers flame out in the playoffs? Will you post under a different name on here? You don't seem the type to accept getting pwned a whole lot on here if the Lakers don't win it all.

Clipps beat an average Lakeshow and now they're supposed to be good? They're still a sub .500 team that pulled together for a couple of good wins, nothing more.
Heck, you make me pick between playing them or the Whorenets in the 1st round and I'll pick them.

Clipps will make the playoffs but as a 7th or less seed. So they will probably upset the Lakers or Mavs in the 1st round.

You already know the answer to that. This board is a lot like the ESPN forums where these momma's boys change user names more than underwear. That's why all of them have accounts that started just after the championship.

I think if the OP would just tell the Spurs how to shellack another team, we could get it done easily...

Clips are 13th "seed" and 5L out of 8th place today.

With 3-12 road record indicating real weakness, I doubt they can make the playoffs.

Interesting then how Spurs lost to the C's without Perkins or Garnett and defeated the Lakers.

Well obviously, it's a longshot. But it's possible Denver and Portland fall hard with the trade likely happening and Camby having surgery.

Clips are playing 6-8 seedish basketball right now, as I thought they would before the season if Baron could elevate his motivation (which he didn't the first month of season or so). Also kinda funny how they got better after Kaman went down.
