Mavs still need Beaubois. But Pavlocic is actually a nice addition. I kinda hope they keep him for the season. Good shooter and he actually attacks the rim more than Butler did, and is a solid passer.
How that TAKS test studying coming along?

Kidd/Marion/Terry happened. Kidd hit the majority of his 3 pointers..as did Terry.

Dirk's movement looks terrible. It honestly looks like that injury sucked any athleticism (which wasn't much to being with) from his body.

Hopefully it is a short term thing and he gets better, but damn, he was out for a while. Should have healed by now.

Lakers simply can't guard the perimeter anymore. Can't guard the 3. Even so, their interior is porous. And don't even get started on transition D.

Yikes.

No shit...he can't even run. Don't see how his knee is getting better if he is playing on it. Will probably be a season long thing and it's a shame bc he has to carry this team

im a little perplexed as to the lakers effort. they showed against okc they played with energy, intensity, defended and executed. tonight was a disaster. nobody played defense. they allowed guys like marion and kidd to play like they were in their primes 6 yrs ago. i know they were due to shoot well but this is just ridiculous. at least its not a basketball problem its a desire problem.

Pau was flat out destroying Dirk most of that game. Diggler looked 40 years old out there.

Also, notice how the Mavs instantly went on the game ending run when Bynum went to the bench in the third.

Yeah these third collapses are embarrassing. The Lakers controlled this and Clipper game up until that point.

Eventually removing Luke from the court permanently will do wonders for the team psychologically though.

TBH, I am not surprised with the Mavs' win. They've lost their last six games and they surely wanted to come back against the two-time defending champs no less.

Against OKC the Lakeshow made a run then let Westbrook and co get back in the game. Same thing happened with Dallas, Philly, etc. Basically, every team has a shot at the Lakers because their D always lets teams come back at them.
The difference between the OKC game and the Dallas game is that Dallas executed better than OKC in the 4th.
I mean, IIRC, the only blowout win this season for the Lakers was the Cavs...

Pau was flat out travelling and pushing against Dirk still far away from being healthy.

I saw at least two huge travels and the ESPN douches praised him afterwards for the great footwork :lol
