damn, from the angle that shot was photgraphed from, it looked like it was getting blocked! that was a great day, i remember us being down virtually the whole way through and then when elliot hit that shot i just went crazy! :elephant i also remember in the post game conference mike dunleavey said "i bet $50 he couldnt hit that shot again" and then when elliot came to the stand his first comment to the press was "i could go hit that shot right now, i was just feelin it tonight" i loved the confidence and swagger of the '99 Spurs!!

I used to love Memorial Day because of that shot... until this morning. I drove all the way out to the post office, all excited because I am expecting to get some stuff that I ordered on the internet. Ordering stuff on the internet is fun, cause it makes going to the post office like Christmas. Anyway, so I get to the post office and then I remember that it is Memorial Day, and the mail isn't happening today. It was frustrating.
