I still want him to fail in his domestic policies. While he was preaching all that nonsense about closing Gitmo, accusing Bush of indiscriminate bombing (something he's increased -- not that it's indiscriminate or ever was), talking about abandoning the war; yeah, I wanted him to fail then too.

But, now that he's obviously been educated on the realities -- something many of us said would happen, beginning January 21, 2009 -- I'm willing to give him a chance in that arena.

Kudos to President Obama for getting a brain on terrorism. That doesn't change the fucked up mess he's making of domestic politics.
