last time I went to a Spurs game... 2005 I believe, against Sacramento...

I just walked right in, I was surprised.. I thought there would be more security, but they just scanned my tickets and walked right in.

They had you empty your pockets, hold your hands above your shoulders and they did the security wand front and back..

Just find this chaos interesting...We got to the game at 730 and missed the first 7 minutes because we were waiting in line....

FWIW, I went to the Hoyas/Duke matchup in DC last year which Obama attended. Got wanded, but only waited about 20 minutes to get through. POTUS was a sitting courtside, secret service everywhere.

Typical rush is 10-20 minutes before the game...

They've been doing this randomly for years. The first time I remember was during the 2005 Finals, but it pops up a few times a year. Like Phila said, it's no problem if you show up early, but if you get there near game time then you're going to miss tip off.
