Everyone has them.
New Orleans played great and we didn't respond. The Spurs have a lot of work to do and tons of room to improve.
No fear of the Hornets, they'll revert back to the mediocre team that they are.

Nah I gotta give New Orleans their props. They started hot and now are playing the best of any team. They're legit. Let's hope they're a 6/7 seed.

I was a bit upset watching the Spurs get blown out, but then I was completely comforted when Blair destroyed their front-court with that brutal tomahawk.

You gotta respect that NO has beaten us twice, and that they're playing defense at an elite level for at least the past 2 games.
Can they sustain it? It's possible. The game will decide, not "we're the Spurs" and/or our record.

Turn that around and you'd have "Great game because we had energy. Who cares?
Seems to me this is the place to talk about the Spurs, right?

No worries? Are you being for real?!
I'm sure if you take a look at the Hollinger rankings tomorrow it'll show that the Spurs slip to #2 (lose to the lowly Hornets) and the Heat rise to #1 (win over a quality Toronto team). This is awful. :(

Ok, look at it this way then: The Spurs managed to split the season series with the obviously superior, mighty Hornets. If the Hornets aren't careful, the Spurs are fully capable of knocking them off in a 7 game series.
After blowing the Atlanta Hawks out by 41 points, the Hornets held a slim 3 pt lead at half.
There. All better.

New Orleans is a legit mid-level playoff team. They could push the Spurs to 6 or 7 in round 2 if the Spurs get the 1 seed.
Stein had us at 1, and you know that's a curse.

Scooby dooby doo....we got some work to do now. I am not toooo worried, since we split the season series & the Hornets are on a roll atm. These things happen. But we did look awful in the 3rd.

I hate over-reactions to one loss and a back to back loss at that. Back to backs are just a scheme by the NBA to squeeze as much bucks as they can out of every season. Every player hates to play in them and vet teams often give up when down early in a BACK TO BACK spot.. You read nothing into last nights game at all. I called the loss in the game thread. It was a tailor made spot for a let-down..
