No way they would have lost to the Whorenets by 20+ points. In fact, they wouldn't have lost to the Whorenets at all while the Spurs have lost twice this season. I'm sure PJ is make a comment or so about this later on. That's Phil being Phil. Seriously, what an embarrassing performance by the Spurs. How can a coach like Pop allow this to happen? What a disgrace, getting outcoached by a rookie head coach. Stop fooling yourselves!

Why would they be rolling in their graves? The Hornets are the best team since the '96 bulls tbh..thought we established this way back at game #8 of the Hornets season...

tbh, the Spurs weren't even on pace to match those bulls.

Hornets on a stride, Spurs still on pace for 64-65... non-issue

Shows what you know. They were owned by the Magic.

So you are back on the Hornet's wagon or what?

Why the hell would anyone compare us to the 96 Bulls? Not even close.

Actually while the Magic did end one of their long winning streaks, the Bulls ended up sweeping them in the ECFs.

That's beside the point I was responding to. It's midseason, tonight's loss was what it was, a loss, and yes the 72 win Bulls got blown out too.

Why are we discussing a thread that is comparing one of the greatest teams of all time to the Spurs?

Everyone gets compared to the best when they are doing well, ergo the Kobe/MJ comparisons when he's on a winning team.

I know. I just can't help myself.

I have to admit. I'm surprised with how 8 teams have managed to lose to the Whorenets in a row. Not just once, but twice. Strange since this Whorenet team may be one of the worst in NBA history.

The Spurs are on pace for 70 wins which is why this thread was started.

No time to sell out the Mavs right now. This time will get it together. Roddy will come back and the depth will take over.

They didn't look that way tonight. You might want to reconsider.
