+1 on KillaKobe. Love Cuban, annoying? yes, but quite possibly the best owner in the league when it comes to effort!

Honestly though, I'd love to see a Laker/Mavs showdown. Its going to be a brutal series.

i think cuban might be more excited about sienna west than what peja brings

No reason for Cubes to get excited over Peja. Whorenets did the right thing shipping his worthless injury-prone ass. Cubes should have stayed away from him. He will disappoint. Trust me. He's a nice guy, but terrible player overall.

I hate to say it but Peja is a pussy and going to work for Cuban will only make his pussy bigga...My lasting image of him is flaming out against the then defense of Rick Fox...he's never recovered in my mind...

Softer on defense than Bonnner and cannot shoot as well. Mavs giving up on the D first thing and replacing Caron with the last thing they needed.

namlook
01-24-2011, 09:04 PM
Meh. Peja plays no D and is not the player he once was on O.

Then entire Western Conference will be feeling the aftershocks from this blockbuster deal. The Mavs are the new favorites to come out of the west imo. This changes everything...

Welcome Peja, can't wait to see how you fit in.
Roddy getting closer and closer, looks to be a week away. Will give Cuban a few weeks to evaluate the team at full health before deciding if a trade is necessary

Honestly... what are the chances that Roddy comes back and plays meaningful minutes come playoff time after missing all of the season thus far?

Good, somebody else who will keep the ball away from Dirk and keep him from scoring, great.

funny how spurs fans think that the signing of peja was with the hopes of him being the savior of the mavs. dude is simply a player meant to provide some depth and 3pt shooting in limited minutes.

mindcrime
01-25-2011, 01:58 PM
Funny thing with Peja. The only time I remember him even trying on defense when he played for the Kings was against Dirk.

cheguevara
01-25-2011, 02:36 PM
Peja hasn't provided depth in years.

he will provide a couple of 3s as long as the game is a "regular season" game

Peja Stojakovic (knee) is inactive for tonight's Clippers-Mavericks game. Could also be out Thursday, but hopes to debut soon

http://twitter.com/EKS_MavsNBA

Peja hasn't played since Nov 26th. First thing he needs to prove is that he's healthy enough to play rotation minutes. Can't see him as the solution for the Mavs problems; they'll trade for a legit wing player.

I for one actually hope that Peja plays good for the rest of the regular season and convinces Cuban that he is the savior of the franchise.

Of course maybe he'll twist a breast come the playoffs, but you can count on Cuban to resigning him to a lucrative long term contract.

I remember in Predrag's salad days,,,when we were whipping the dog shit out of him they started listing him up in Northern California at 6'11".

tee, hee.

After seeing this shit performance tonight Peja is probably wishing he went to a contender like the Hornets or Lakers

BRHornet45
01-25-2011, 09:45 PM
Peja will hit a few clutch 3's against bullshit teams, but whenever the elite teams or playoffs role around he will be nowhere to be found.
