How bad is it going to be? Classy fans in that arena. I guess we know who are the best fans in California (we knew already).

Didn't appear to be too bad, but you never know. Time to hold your breath and prepare mentally for the worst. Either way Duncan is tough and if he can play he will. Doubt he plays again tonight though.

He always been melodramatic with the falls... The fact he walked out was a great sign IMO.
Let's see what the X-ray return, but I would be surprised if it's something serious.

I say it's a slight hyper-extension, the same thing that happened to McDyess where most of the board here thought that Antonio was out for the season, but he came back that same game and then, just as a precaution, he sat out the rest of the week.

Since it's Tim, he ain't coming back this game but it was good to see that he was able to both flex and extend his leg and just as important, walk off the court on his own.

It's just my guess, but I say out 2 weeks because he is THE FRANCHISE.

Double-edged sword to be honest. This is the perfect opportunity to develop Splitter. We were going to need him anyway if we hoped for even a chance at the championship.

Even if tweaked something it wont much difference for him in terms of performance. It was just a acute pain by twisting in a abnormal fashion which went away after awhile.

I have the had same problems with my knees.

RRT would be hosed...it looked worse than a 2 week injury to me but I will hope for the best.

And there was pin drop silence as TD was twitching in pain.. I am sure many of them were as scared as Spurs fans were.

Duncan is back on the court during warm-up/shoot around. He's fine. Clearly not a serious injury.

He's moving around the court now.

Man In Black

While it looked bad, it looked no worse than the McDyess incident last season. You guys remember that Antonio's career was affected by that same knee and it's myriad of injury. Tim's career has never been affected the same way that McDyess' was but Antonio came back. The fact that he walked off as opposed to got stretchered off indicates that the training staff felt that there was no further risk for injury because, even to just walk to the back with a serious knee injury, could result in further damage. I'm telling you, imho, the brace did the job it's supposed to.

He's ok he was on the court just now moving around, taking shots, etc. If it was a serious injury he wouldn't be doing even that.

HAHAHA...See the brace did it's job. But I'd prefer he sat out the rest and let's Splitter play.

beat me to what? it sounds to me you're trying to generate some drama. Look at the other threads opened son, that's the way it's done.

And BTW since you seem to know how to, how does a man fuck himself?
Son? I thought you were a Spurs fan and here you come off like BR Hornets.

You really are melting... melting.... melting...

You fuck yourself by a public display of a meltdown.

Tim went down on his right ankle and the fans in the Key Arena cheered. Then a couple minutes later he got up and walked off and the fans booed him as if he raped their entire families. That was the worst display of sportsmanship from NBA fans of all time, IMO. They deserved to lose their team for that alone if anything...

When Tim Duncan got up from that fall, he had the fire in his eyes. That was one of those moments that, as a Spurs fan, you knew Timmy was not going to let them lose that game.

The Supersonics lost that game, lost that series, and ultimately, lost their franchise.

In my OG thread all you got was honest opinion based on experience and observation. It got merged with all the other "ahem" injury threads.

I said it was a hyper-extension when he went down. It was a hyper-extension officially.
I said he could come back just based on how he was able to get up and walk off, just like McDyess did. Tim is able to play, as evidenced by him moving around and shooting during half-time. Mind you, less than 20 minutes after he went down.
I said he should sit and Splitter should play the rest of the game. Splitter and McDyess are getting the minutes. Tim hasn't played at all.

I said the Spurs are going to win the Finals and pay me 12-1 in Vegas...Remains to be seen.

Man In Black

:lmao So Tim is back. Never question the bulky brace again.

The Supersonics lost that game, lost that series, and ultimately, lost their franchise.

Thats why you don't mess with Timmy.
