Thought this was interesting. It was part of the Peja Stojakovic/Alexis Ajinca deal:
Dallas Signs Stojakovic After Ajinca Deal
Jan 25, 2011 5:50 AM EST
The Mavericks were allowed to sign Peja Stojakovic on Monday night after the NBA approved their trade of Alexis Ajinca to the Raptors.
Stojakovic had been released by Toronto on Thursday.
Dallas sends Ajinca to Toronto and will pay the remainder of his $1.5 million salary for the season and return a future second-round pick that the Raptors had sent the Mavericks last June, as well as cash considerations.
In return, Dallas receives the rights to 2007 second-round pick Georgios Printezis and a trade exception equal to Ajinca's $1.5 million salary.

The Spurs drafted Printezis the same year they acquired Tiago Splitter and the basketball player formerly known as Marcus Williams in the draft. He went 58th to them and was actually present at the Garden (I remember watching him walk down to the stage and get his jersey as the 58th pick...unheard of). A 6'8 SF out of Greece, everyone thought he was a hidden gem. But suddenly and abruptly, they traded him for a future draft pick from Toronto. That pick would go on to become the 45th pick in the 2008 draft which netted Goran Dragic...who was in turn traded for another future pick: the 37th pick in the 2009 NBA draft which became DeJuan Blair. So on this day when Giorgios Printezis still isn't in the league and has now become the property of the Dallas Mavericks we have to say, thank you Toronto, Phoenix and Georgios Printezis for DeJuan Blair.
