I think most of you remember James Gist and Curtis Jerrells.

They're teammates in Partizan Belgrad and both of them are performing very well. I've just wathed their game against team Efes from Turkey(my country) and they're both perfect.

James Gist improved his shoots to an incredible level and he's one of the most dangerous three pointer shooter in Europe at the moment. He shooted 12/23 beyond the arc in first 10 games and as an addition 4/8 in the last game. He rebounds well too, 7.4 per game.

Curtis was also very well, he joined to Partizan lately and he's playing very good at PG position. 15 pts 7 assists last game.

12/23 through 10 games for european ball isn't anything to write home about. Of course this is not to say he'd necessarily be a mediocre (or worse) 3 point shooter in the NBA if given the chance. I'm just saying the sample size is pretty poor...and it's european ball with a european 3 point line.

I think you don't have any information update about european basketball. because 3 point line taken back this year in Europe. The players are shooting from 6 m 75 cm to score triples.(It's same like NBA corners)

At the moment Gist is shooting 16/31 in 12 games in Euroleague. It's a very good rate in Europe. He can be a back-up for Bonner following years

Without those two Partizan would suck balls.

Rasho's also playing really well for Olympiacos.

No he isn't, he's pretty average in Olimpiacos.

This is Rasho stats:

And this is Gist's stats:

I'm not a huge fan of Gist but as I told you, he showed some flashes lately.

Oh ok cool, that's good to know.

Point about 23 through 10 games not being a sufficient sample size still stands, though.

Yes he is. Playing for a top 5 club in Europe is a little bit different than playing for Partizan who's got to thank the 3 Americans and one Australian that they are good. Other players are not really top class.

And Gist is also playing 10 minutes more than Rasho, so it's pretty normal that he averages 4 points and 2 rebounds more. Plus he's like 10 year younger.
Right now I'd still rather have Rasho on an NBA team, cause at least he showed that he can play here, while James showed nothing impressive when he was with the Spurs.

Funny stuff watching posters getting their euroleague points blocked by the facts.

Thanks to the OP for the info. I think Gist will play in the NBA. He's a baller and he has just enough size and athleticism to go with his determination.
