He's a slightly above average coach. He should have been fired years ago.

Good. Now lets see if Tenn brings my boy VY back and gives him a coach who knows how to utilized his talents.

It's not about utilizing his talent. He is a talented QB. The problem with VY is his lack of work ethic, his pussiness when it comes to dealing with any off the field pressure and his overly inflated ego. He wants to be idolized by everybody even though he has accomplished absolutely nothing in the NFL.

i agree to an extent. VY definitely has some issues with this maturity in different areas. at the same time, there is no question that fisher did not utilize him well either. i think both sides were to blame for this whole debacle.

I would have thought an offensive genius like Norm Chow would have utilized him well.

How could Fisher have possibly used him better? Was he not utilized properly because he was asked to throw the ball more than 10 yards down field and not simply asked to scramble on every passing down?

The same was said about Vick in ATL.

It wasn't the scheme, surrounding players, etc. It was mostly Vick.

Same thing applies here.

And Fisch is a good coach. Not elite by any means but he can provide the solid groundwork for a rebuilding franchise.

My guess is that he'll be in the broadcast booth for a little while.

by the fact that he kept insisting on playing kerry collins, even though VY had saved his job twice

the problem with atlanta was vicks lack of work ethic, as well as the fact that the coaches didnt take the time to discipline him. they told him to go out and run all he wants pretty much, instead of teaching him how to be a QB, like the coaches in Philly has done.

Kerry Collins was the more effective QB. They went 13-3 in the season where Collins was the full-time starter. Maybe if VY wasn't such an immature douche and showed some humility during that season he could have learned how to be an NFL QB. You can't put any blame on Fisher for VY inability to be an effective QB.

98.6 QB rating = inable to be an effective QB

Titans record with Collins starting: 16-16

Titans record with Young starting: 30-18

not to mention KC's 13-3 season came with the arrival of Chris Johnson, a luxury that VY didn't have in the two seasons prior to that. not to mention that twice KC got the Titans off to miserable starts to seasons, only for VY to salvage both of them into near playoff appearances and non-losing seasons.

Again, I've said several times that VY had his share of blame in how it all ended and has a lot to work on, but it seems like you are hell bent on blaming the entire situation on VY, and only acknowledge the negatives that he brought the team, not realizing he brought his fair share of positives to the team as well.

crofl you say that like 8-8 is a record to be proud of. The fact that he out8-8'ed Dave Wannstedt isn't some massive acheivement.

39% still means alot of critics liked it. It's kinda like appauding 6 winning seasons out of 16 by stating that there were only 5 losing seasons.
