Whenever a Spurs fan thinks he's clever by posting that same old gif of Chris Paul, I'll post that.

There was a better flop in that Spurs game. When time was running out, Manu and Bell had a better flop off and Manu won... again.

Two of my favorite players in the game, flopping their damn asses off. Gotta appreciate that.

Yeah, Ginobili's right foot does slip off of Raja Bell's shoe, but he adds a little flair with the left leg extension.

wow, that's one of the funniest and most pathetic things I've ever seen

:lmao terrible acting...the dude on the left flops down first even though he initiated 100% of the contact, rammed his head not vice versa, and the guy on the right reacts by shoving the guy first (his body's natural defensive reaction) and then forgetting he could be flopping also so then flops a second late with the dumbest fucking execution :lol

IF ANYONE HASN'T WATCHED THIS VIDEO, PLEASE DO.

They both should be suspended for that shit. Especially Manure.

as least in soccer they can get carded for it

BVTw1ysCgBY

but the main problem remains the same as in basketball, the ref can't punish what he doesnt see, in this case ejecting a guy for doing nothing

Actually that flop by the soccer coach killed his "career".

And yeah i would love to see technicals for flopping. Even game suspensions if they are obvious like this (or the Davis-Okur one).

They actually called a double foul IIRC, believe it or not..

Thats what is really killing my respect for Ginobili...well same goes with argentinian soccer players...

I don't necessarily disagree, but then what do you do about verbal flopping?..it's just as bad as physical flopping nowadays..

No. Ginobili got the benefit of the doubt on that one (hell.. it's Ginobili vs Bell, cmon now). Raja Bell was called for the blocking foul, hence Spurs kept the ball on that possession.

After that, Ginobili and Raja were tussling back and forth before the ball went in bounds on the next play, so the refs called a double technical on them.

Instead of some of the tragic events they have at All-Star weekend, they should drop some and at least include a flop-off...That would garner some interest...

Actually Bell was called for a foul on the play so I guess Manu won. :lol

Manu showing why he's the master. The big leg kick was a little excessive but Raja's flop was just terrible. He takes a shoulder to the guy but sells it like he got hit up around the shoulders. Should have kept his upper body tucked forward when he fell on his ass, sold it like a body blow.

Tiago is a pretty consistent flopper, didn't say good one, just consistent.

The flop is done by anyone taking a charge. The problem with not doing it is that you don't get the call, and instead you are called for the block. Manu found what works, it means extra possessions. The refs are part of the game and he's learned to MANUpulate them into compliance. They know he's a flopper, but they blow the whistle before they realize it because he's so damn wild. If he just had long hair he would be unguardable.
