Boston is the worst rebounding team in the NBA (ESPN2 NBA update just discussed this as a growing potential flaw today) and bad on both ends - some is certainly explainable by pace. However, the announcers (J. Rose and others) said that Perkins is not a great rebounder for his size and this may get even worse and makes them potentially highly vulnerable to other teams top teams, LAL and SAS were among those named that rebound much better. Is this a valid point?

The same show discussed how that even with Allen and Pierce Celtics are a not a great team at shooting FTs by % or in drawing attempts

Boston is a great team but they are not this unbeatable force.

The rebounding differential is more relevant. Boston ranks 20th in the league in differential. They do make up for it somewhat by having the top steals differential in the league. While I am sure that Boston is concerned with their lack of rebounding prowness I would say that is a small part of an incomplete picture. IMO Boston and LA are the 2 biggest threats to a Spurs 5th this year in that order.
