Tim Duncan flat out lost us the game...he was either missing a bunch of FT's, or making bad decisions.
Manu and Bowen were the only guys that wanted to win.

Duncan had a bad night. Ref's had a bad night. Pop didn't call timeouts when he should have. There's all sorts of things that lost us this game. But i'm glad it took all of them for us to lose as I don't expect us to make the same mistakes in Game 5.

After 4 games, we still can't fucking stop amare...he fucking does whatever he wants. Fuckin someone needs to step up and play his ass.
And also, when the fuck are we gonna start challenging 3's???
You would think that the spurs would start playing D on the perimeter after the Suns hit their first 10 3's...but whatever. Fuck this.

your right, i am sure the rest of the team wanted to fly back to phoenix :rolleyes
I am right.
Duncan didn't wanna win, neither did Parker.
I would have rather been blown out.
I just hate the fact that we gave away the game...we had the game won, all we had to do was hit a couple FT's, and make 2 more better decisions...
I just can't ever stand it when the Spurs lose when they have the game won. I knew we were going to lose in the first 3 minutes of the 3rd quarter.

players have bad games, relax. it happens, it does not mean they don't want to win, if you truely believe they wanted to lose you are a moron.

If they wanted to win, they would have tried.

who wasn't trying, tony taking the charge from amare near the end, or duncan who just got blocked by amare. just just gotta tip your hat sometimes when a good play is made. 9 out of 10 times it would be a dunk or a foul instead of a block. they were obviously trying. if you literally think they don't have passion for the game to win, go ahead and jump off the bandwagon

You would think that the spurs would start playing D on the perimeter after the Suns hit their first 10 3's...but whatever. Fuck this. The Spurs have done a good job preventing 3s until tonight--and Joe Johnson can be thanked for that. At one point the Suns had Johnson, Richardson, Amare, Nash and Jackson on the court at the same time. The Spurs were playing a zone to help with the double team of Amare. That left one of the four shooters on the court open. Nash did his usual penetration sucking in a defender. One was guarding Amare, another was cheating to prepare for the double. Nash kicks the ball out to Johnson, Richardson or Jackson or gets the ball to Amare off the pick and roll. Defenders decided they rather leave someone wide open for a three than give Amare the dunk. That results in a lot of three point attempts.
Joe Johnson changes the legitiment threats the Suns have, not just as a three point shooter, but with his ability to hit running jumpers in the lane too. It's pick your poison as a defender. Johnson needed game three to get comfortable again. Of course, take Q or Jackson out of the equation and it isn't nearly as deadly--unless it's Marion in one of their places and his shot is falling.
