Luke Walton is bad, but he didn't lose them this game. The Triangle seems to be MIA. Rarely did more than 2 or maybe 3 players touch the ball, and it became Kobe in ISO.

that assignment would have gone to Matt Barnes but he's out .....
So put in a rookie Ebanks who probably would have gotten three fouls in 15 seconds.
work with what you have ......

You're seriously fucking retarded if you're blaming this on Kobe ISO. Or lack of the triangle, which is equally dumb.
This game was lost on the boards and the defensive end. And Phil was coaching like he didn't give a flying fuck today. Went with worst defensive matchups during the 4th. Intentional? We'll see come June.

You realize that when Kobe goes into iso, he scores a lot, but when he doesn't the defensive rebounders know pretty much JUST where they need to be. He spins and pivots, but the ball is pretty much going up from that spot. You make the defenses job easy, including rebounding, when you don't reverse the ball from side to side.

You're basically fucking dumb. Thanks for confirming, ChuckD.
The ball was reversed by Kobe plenty and usually ended up back in his hand because the team was too scared to fucking shoot.

Kobe did good job on Pierce in 4th. But thanks to that foul trouble in 1st half he couldn't guard him,we need Barnes back badly

Lakers need to:
- Start Barnes..since I highly doubt that Phil will ever bench Fisher, the Lakers obviously need a player with some mobility and athleticism in the starting lineup..I don't know how Artest would handle being benched though, so that might be a problem..Barnes is a good enough defender to handle it, even though he's not on Artest's level..Artest can come in the game early if the Lakers desperately need D..also, it could be a spark for him..
- Play Ebanks over Walton..again, LA needs some athleticism..I highly doubt Ebanks could be any worse than Walton..
- Sit Pau out for a few weeks..the rest of their team is good enough to hold it down while Gasol is gone..he's been playing horribly for over a month now..he's clearly fatigued and/or injured..Lakers need to sit him for a while, give him a break, and he'll be fresh for the playoff run..Bynum is good enough to handle the load up front..

Today's game made it abundantly clear that if Perkins didn't get hurt last year, the Celtics win the Finals in 6 games.
The Lakers are done. IF they somehow manage to reach the WCF, they're gonna get assraped by the Spurs.
Spurs and Celtics in the Finals. Book it.

Celts would be a very tough out for us, probably a close, 7-game series. I give them the edge because in a close series it usually boils down a few rebounds here or there, and they've got a distinct advantage in that dept.
Our 3 pt shooting would have to carry us, and that's not a winning bet IMO.

Just as retarded as you overhyping Bynum. The game was lost on the boards? Where was your boy Baby Drew? Baby Drew getting his ass owned in the paint by Big Baby. This stuff keeps happening you might have to change your avatar again. :lol

I don't know about that. The reason the Celtics lost last year had more to do with KG than anything else. KG played scared last year and didn't have 100% confidence in his knee. He's now completely healed and playing almost at the 2008 level. The Celtics go as KG goes imho.

Easier said than done. He owned him last time and it netted us an NBA World Championship.
