View Full Version : Your thoughts on a trade for Love?

Before I get bashed I highly doubt this deal gets off the ground but just beeen reading that Love is not at all happy with his team and living in the cold.

So the question I have on this fantasy trade would be who would you give up to get Love? The media mentioned Hill, Blair, Splitter for Love I have no idea how the money lands up.

For me the stinking point would be Hill but with Neal playing well I wonder if you could replace him with Neal and do a Neal, Splitter, Blair? To be honest I woud rather give our number one draft and Blair, and Splitter if that could happen.

As I mentioned before I love all our players and think we have a good chance at winning a ring and would not want to do something stupid.

But this offseason if this trade came up I would consider it.

Apparently. :rolleyes

By the way, OP, the phrase is "sticking point", not "stinking point", which makes no sense.

OP...I shall give a D- for creativity, but I must give you an A+ for conforming trollism. We all need more media troll soldiers. Keep up the good work.

How I love me some K Love threads!

Why do we have to trade anything for him? We should just demand that they give him to us for free. Clearly, they're salivating for Bonner and a 2nd round draft pick in 2023, but that doesn't mean we have to give in to their demands. It's time to play hard ball. Love for nothing or we walk.

Getting Love would be great, but probably unrealistic. What is real is the fact that Hill will be a FA t the end of next season and will command a starter role (go to guy) and a large pay raise. The Spurs can give hime the money, but not so sure about the rest. This time next year we may have to trade him.

isnt tim out of contract end of next season, im sure he will take a big paycut to keep hill around...td for around 10m or less if he decides to play on...sounds about right to me since thats what drob was on his last legs with the team....

ghill for around 7-8m a season...then again a fkn scrub like RJ is gettin paid 13m+

What are the chances of getting Lebron James in a spurs uni?

Huh?

I think he would be a great back up for RJ

How does involving New Orleans in the trade work?

Do you ever look anything up? RJ is being paid about 9mil on average:

Yes, overpaid, I've said that all along, but not "13m+".

I would have traded Mason and Finley last year. I'd even have thrown in Mahinmi.
