Go to wunderground.com or weather.gov and look at the local radars for San Antonio. The type of returns on the radar for the drizzle are much more diffuse. This band is an area of lift associated with the low that extends up to North Texas.

The band near Sonora is all snow too, but that might be wrap around - I just really can't tell where the hell the low is. I think it is wrap around (on the west side of the low) so I don't think it will come towards SA but there is a chance it could extend down. I think this band is SA's best shot tonight to get maybe a quarter to half an inch and that will be it.

Great fucking time. Got home around 1:20 from the bars, which was great because that was about right before it really started coming down over here. I tried making snow angels and all that good stuff.

Yeah there's just no reference, but if you realize the arms are door stops, it lets you know he's pretty small.

I just used whatever I had. The buttons are plastic push pin fasteners, the type you'd find on a car (wheel wells for example). The nose is a foot for something, and the hat is a part that's used to hold metal pipes in place.

On the way home from my mom's after picking up my kids when I got off from work, I spun out and steered me car towards the grassy side of the street. Cars were flying by and wrecking so I got my kids out of the car and started walking about 3 blocks to a convenience store when an older couple saw me and let into their home so my kids could stay warm.

I stayed there for an hour until my mom picked us up. I thanked the couple over and over and am thinking of a way to pay them back for taking my kids in.

I walked back to my car this morning and luckily it was still there, and unharmed. I backed it up onto a side street (I was facing the wrong direction) and drove home very slowly.

I'm really excited for the kids outside going nuts. My kids are 14 & 15 and have never touched snow before so I took lots of pictures ... because I was their age the last time it snowed here. :)

I'm not leaving, but SFIE is dressed and ready to catch a bus if necessary (which is SO stupid, his office is non-essential). Staff were screwed over on this one, and I'm back to outrage since my shit got taken care of (by some angel who drove in this am).
