Spurs really have to watch out for Matthews & Aldridge. The Blazers can get hot from 3 and they can really bring the energy. If the Spurs don't match that, they are in trouble.

LA is a really tough match up and we don't really have anyone that can guard him. Matthews is another guy who can light it up.

Spurs have to be efficient and disruptive on the defensive end.

Tim Duncan will be ready to play tonight against Portland after practicing with the Spurs earlier this morning in their shootaround at the Rose Garden.

Duncan was on the floor with his teammates when media covering the team’s morning practice was ushered onto the court. He shot jumpers and free throws and moved around the floor without even a trace of a limp.

Asked about reports that he had been seen limping on his left knee to the team plane for Monday’s flight to Portland, Duncan just laughed.

“I limp all the time,” he said. “It’s nothing new.”

I'll be at the game tonight. I live in Portland now (used to live in S.A and Austin) and I've been watching the Blazers as much as the Spurs. (not by choice) Portland is super-thin right now at every position so the Spurs' depth should give them problems. On the other hand they always play well at home, and Aldridge has been a beast. I just don't see how the Blazers can score enough points with their current team to keep up.

Even if we just missed out on the playoffs, we'd still end up with the 14th pick, which isn't much better than the 17th pick.
