ya, beno stepped up in this game and played well for the first time in a long while. it was good to see him do this in the playoffs, and bowen as well, i can't remember the last time i saw him hit multiple threes like he did tonight.

Agreed on all acounts. Throw Rob in there even though he blew that layup.

After calming down a bit, I know we can do this guys. 1 more is all we need. Tim was unbelievably pissed during the post game and a pissed off Tim is a bad Tim the following game. The series ends in Phoenix. Who's with me?

The questionable calls could quite possibly provide ample motivation for a whoopin in game 5.

Bowen Missed His Important Task Containing Marion. Everytime We Got Withing 2-4 Points Marion's Ape FACED ASS Was There With An Ugly Basket. But Props To Bowen.

Yeah, just an off game. Thought they could sweep, however.

On a positive note, nothing is sweeter than closing out a series on an opponents floor.

Excellent point!

We played like shit....
Transition defense was atrocious...
Suns shot as well as they could all series....
Tim and Tony couldn't hit the side of a barn tonight....
Refs screwed us on several occasions....

AND we still had a chance to win the game.

I agree about a pissed Duncan being a monster Duncan the following game. Boy, did he have an awful game tonite (for Tim Duncan). I think that he will have Stoudemire, Hunter, and marion in foul trouble with his aggressiveness in game 5.

that the spurs do not get as much rest as if they would have won
which could be a big blessing in disguise

I was hoping that they would finish them off tonight...but then I was like dang this is gonna suck not being able to watch a Spurs game for a whole week. And I hate coming home from work with nothing to look forward to, so a game five in a couple of days will be nice to come home to after work and watch them finish the suns in five now that is something to look forward to.

Here's a positive thought. If the Spurs had somehow won this game, with bad ft shooting, traveling calls, open 3s, etc., they would have mistakenly thought they were the kings of the world. Now, they realize that to win games in the WCF, and later on in the Finals, YOU HAVE TO PLAY WITH INTENSITY, WITH PURPOSE, WITH A DESIRE TO WIN. So here's hoping they got the message loud and clear.

We are in a good position being up in this series and going to Phoenix, I wish we could have swept, oh well just keep on going from here till we close out the Suns. The Sun will set in Phoenix remember that Suns Fans. Duncan just needs to work on free throws, I'm glad to see Bowen make shots, they need to pick up the D late in the game, but other than that the Spurs will be fine, win and prevail.

Bowen Missed His Important Task Containing Marion.

Most of Marion's points were on the break, or with Horry guarding him. I think he only scored one basket on Bruce that wasn't a fast break.
