"Bryant joins Deron Williams (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?playerId=2798) and Russell Westbrook (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?playerId=3468) as the only players this season with multiple games with at least 30 points and 10 assists."

" He becomes the third player in Lakers history to eclipse the 5,000 assist mark with the team, joining Magic Johnson and Jerry West. Bryant also became the seventh player in NBA history to register 25,000 points, 5,000 rebounds and 5,000 assists."

right now Kobe is #51 and will be in sole possession of 50th place in short order. dude done come a long way...for a player branded selfish by Shaq and the media this is Kobe's most impressive accomplishment given the false accusations he's had to deal with. If you check NBA reference they list the top 250 assist leaders and Kobe is basically right at 50 all-time.

another milestone...in fact for those that say he doesn't pass just ask your self where is Timmy on this list...and I suspect when his career is done he'll be top 10 in assists and 2nd in scoring..yes I believe he will catch Malone...right now Mo Cheeks is 10th place with 7,392 assists...so much for the Kobe haters...nothing to say really...:toast

Eric Floyd at 49. That cocksucker. Pain in the ass back then. He had that one game in the playoffs where he scored like 48 points and still we beat him. He'd never give up.
