Marcin Gortat is a fucking badass. I had no idea.
Last 8 games:
15.1 ppg
10.9 rpg
1.4 bpg
64.4% FG
93.3% FT
And that's in 27 minutes per game.

True. Gortat's definitely better than Brook Lopez though. Only problem is both of those guys are good defending big men on a team that doesn't play defense. They need to be rebuilding with different players, different coaching, and a new style. The last time they tried to play defense, they failed, but then again their best player was Steve Nash. That would have to change.

to think the Mavs could possibly have Chandler and Gortat, instead of Chandler and Haywood... :bang

"It could go over 200 mph, maybe 225 mph. I don't want to drive that fast, but what matters is how quick it goes from 0-60."
- Marcin Gortat
:lol he's a great NBA player but the dude knows absolutely nothing about cars.
"Dwight has a $300,000 car with 600 horsepower. I have a $150,000 car with 800 horsepower,'' he said. "Mine is like an airplane. It's something I've always wanted. I probably have the fastest car in Florida, maybe in the NBA.''
:lmao so clueless. It's ok, Gortat.

I agree. I've stated before that PHX. needs to trade Nash, Hill, and Carter, and rebuild. Their good enough to get in the playoffs, but I don't see them realistically contending with that current team.

how much do you know about cars to make the assumption that he knows absolutely nothing about cars?
1. He prioritized 0 to 60 times above anything else for a car of that class. If you went to a drag strip or track and started bragging about how fast your car is 0 to 60, you'd be laughed at. Period. The appropriate metrics to use for his car are 60 to 130, 1/4 mile, or standing mile.
2. He suggested that his car was the fastest in Florida. It's not even close. It's not the fastest in terms of top speed, and it's certainly not the fastest in Florida in terms of acceleration.
No assumptions were made.

Yes, but is his M5 faster than your Civic?

Xylus, how's the dynamic between Nash and Lopez? I remember a couple of games where Nash has just seemed downright infuriated with his clumsiness in the pick and roll. Do you foresee Gortat taking over Lopez's starting role any time soon?
