Bro... I know you're a classy Lakerfan... good game tonight... If it's any consolation, I think the Lakeshow really wanted this one and actually played better than other times...

son how in the flying fuck was Duncan the "best defender" on the floor whenever Gasol and Bynum combined for 29 and 17!!???? do you even bother looking at stats? Duncan isn't even a good defender... decent at best .... there is NOTHING good about giving up those kinds of numbers. He was also on Odom for a while and even Odom dropped 16 tonight.
Listen idiot, with LA's size advantage, they only managed to be +2 on the offensive boards. A lot of that was excellent boxing out by TD and letting someone else grab the board. Not to mention, both Duncan and Dice battled in the post, pushing Gasol out of his comfort zone and not letting their bigs dominate inside.
Since when is 2 players combining for 29 and 17 a great thing?? Going by the same token, the Spurs' starting guards combined for 35/10/9. Does that mean Kobe is washed up?

29 and 17 by 2 players is basically 14.5/8.5 per guy. Since when is that dominant? I know the Hornets bigs suck, but the rest of the league has some standards.

Nah. Fun game, but it's only the regular season. The only wins that really matter over the Lakers are 4 wins in the playoffs.
Homecourt advantage. That's important to get those 4 wins.
The Spurs won the tiebreaker tonight .
It will be difficult for the Lakers to have homecourt advantage this season in the WCF.Same if they reach the Finals. Now even they would have to play the second round without home court advantage
It's only regular season but it matters,it really matters.
