Play of the year so far? Manu's play against Denver was better, but since this was LA, I think it's #1.

I've never seen Pop smile like that after a game.

Said it on Twitter right after, haven't seen Pop with that kind of a reaction since '99. Pop was a proud coach. He loves his vets and there's certainly no reason for him to not love the hell out of 'Dyess.

Cheers, Blackjack!!!

What a great win and what a great reaction from coach Pop. This is one of the best feel good moments of the Spurs reason so far.

Could Miller have sounded more dejected? All these punks thought this was the game the Lakers would right the ship, re-establish order and send a message to the Spurs. So much for that.

If rj continues being clutch and playing this well, he can suck all the dicks he wants, as far as I'm concerned.

YEP, Sheed goes out and retires after last years loss in the finals, this guy does not and goes all out to win now.

You should title it "Snake Eyes". Dice gets two and the Lakers go bust.

Amazing that the guy with the most jacked up knees in the game (beating out Bynum, Blair, and Duncan for that title somehow) comes through playing above the rim.

Man when I first saw Duncan miss, I was pissed b/c I thought we loss. Damn Ole man Dyess is awesome!!! Imagine if Duncan and Dyess actually made half of those wide open shots, we would of won by double digits.

Antonio is just a physical specimen. At his age he outperforms everybody athletically at the most important times, doing things I have rarely seen from a 36 year old big man.

The Dallas series made me a believer, but I see now how he can will us to wins a postseason run to # 5. He's like an interested Horry, if that makes any sense

The rebound off the parker miss then the tip off the manu miss...then the tip in off the Duncan miss. He was all over the boards. Dyess is the man!

I was laying in bed...wife asleep...lights off. I quietly put one fist to the sky, turned it off and slept peacefully for 3 1/2 hours or so.

We love you Dice. Hopefully you get that ring, because we honestly want it badly for you.

That was an incredibly smart tip in by McDyess, a great game winning shot one of the years best. It takes alot of concentration, effort and experience to get that close and have perfect timing like that, perhaps one of the best shots of his NBA career. The Lakers needed to boxout but he read that shot by Tim before it bricked. It's just a regular season game but if the Lakers and Spurs met in the playoffs it would be a very competitive series. Lakers thought the game was over when Tim missed it and McDyess pops out of nowhere and tips in the ball with .2 seconds left on the game clock, great ending to a competitive basketball game.
