Any news on Bonner? I doubt he'll play, but he is on the trip with them. And, it's day to day, so I keep hoping he'll come back soon. Never thought I'd say that.:lol

Either way, I don't think we'll see much of Dice tonight either. He'll need some time to recover. Tiago and Blair have to hold the fort down along with Timmy. Should be interesting.

Kings may have one of the worst records in the league, but they've beaten several great teams the past 2 weeks: Knicks, Lakers, Hornets. Spurs need to play hard, grind it out, and not sleep on this one.

This is only the Kings second game is 6 days and they have just started a 2-week home stand. On the other hand, they are in the midst of a tough stretch of opponents beating LA and NO, losing to Boston by 5, then the Spurs, followed by Utah, Dallas, OKC, @ Phoenix, @ OKC, @ Dallas, @ Miami, and @ Orlando.

The Spurs are obviously always expected to get a W, at this point, but I'm leaning towards a close game for this one..Spurs have a lot more talent, obviously, so if they have the legs and mentality, they should beat them..however, everybody knows the circumstances for this game, so a Spurs L shouldn't be surprising..

Sacramento is better than their record, they're playing tough..Cousins and Evans are going to be tough matchups..Dalembert gives them a little size to throw at Tim, while Thompson(even though he isn't good) is the type of player that could potentially give the Spurs problems, with his mid-range shooting..

Spurs probably win in a close game, or it'll be a L where they're trailing and make a comeback at the end, but not enough IMO..

I think Thompson is questionable. He rolled his ankle recently.

http://www.sacbee.com/2011/02/03/3373860/kings-notes-jackson-cleared-for.html

Forward Jason Thompson has been ruled out of Friday's game against San Antonio, but he still hopes to play, depending on how his sprained right ankle feels after working out Wednesday.

"When you wake up, that's the key," Thompson said. "Hopefully when I wake up, it feels good, and I can be ready to go (today)."

adding... if we're throwing out predictions, I think Spurs go up big in the 3rd and coast to an easy win. The 30 minutes before tipoff always sucks.

DeMarcus Cousins might have the lowest basketball IQ in the entire league.. Also that was a charging foul when he barelled through Splitter... lol rewarding an out of control 7 foot 280 pounder barelling towards the basket on a one man fast break.

Blair needs to stop going one on one... in any situation... against any opponent. Hes strictly a player who should feed of others for his scoring opportunities..and hustle for garbage points.
