True that, KG does have a reputation for going after guards and flailing. However in the Mavs @ Boston game earlier, KG was being physical with the bigman Tyson Chandler. KG got away with a pretty good hit on Chandler as they were running past the halfcourt line FWIW. Against Odom it looked like Griffin just stood his ground and shrugged it off. Imo Griffin's more of a physical player that can frustrate opposing players (which KG is a master of) than a fighter or enforcer type. Basketball is plenty physical (Bowen ftw) but I doubt Griffin would've handled the KG/Frye situation any better.
