The Spurs so far have MORE road wins than anyone in the league - except the Heat who have just one more; yet played 4 more games - Spurs have also played now as as many road games as Lakers and Boston and 1 more than Dallas and have the LEAST road losses in the league.

A week or so ago many in the media were quick to jump on the Spurs for inflating their record with a home heavy schedule with a stellar 25-2 record at home.

However the road record of the Spurs at almost 75% is also in the top tier of the league; and my opinion is just as impressive as the home record. Plus with the overall favorable schedule the Spurs have on this rodeo trip - they could well be over 0.800 on the road when they return.

A mark of truly great teams is winning on the road and these Spurs on track for greatness.

In fact, the Spurs road record at 17-6 is close to the same % vs. favored LAL have at home (19-8) - which is stunning with the easy schedule overall LAL has played there and LAL is also 15 and 8 on the road.

Treasure this season it is truly remarkable and will be more so when we see the Spurs with :lobt2::lobt2::lobt2::lobt2::lobt2:

Don't know how media can criticize the Spurs for "inflating" their record due to a heavy home schedule.
Don't these media idiots realize that the Spurs don't make the schedule? The league does!

This will be their 14th consecutive season with a winning record on the road. That Duncan fellow is pretty good.

What's impressive is when their road record is better than the home record of the team they're playing that night. :toast

The spurs are off to an epic regular season record. Everything is falling just right for them all year long with getting teams with injured players to staying healthy themselves to even winning just about every close game and overtime game that could go either way.

It's crazy... I never would have predicted in a million years that our road record could be that good.
