And Chicago took us to the wire in a few games last year, and they've had yet another year to build chemistry. Rose has gotten better, and they've got Boozer now too.

In the West, it's Lakers, Spurs and Mavs. I don't know if I fear the Spurs; they live or die by the outside shot. If they get hot I'd be worried, but I think our length/D could stop them in a best of 7.

A little of both. Perkins seems unable to just grab the ball and go up; he almost always brings it back down before he puts it up, and gives the defender time to block/defend.

Blair is definitely getting better. Bonner is back now. Hill is improving. Our team defense is getting better. There are signs, they just aren't obvious unless you watch most/all of the games. Thats exactly who I thought was whats wrong with the Lakers. Artest is just not a big threat on offense, if he was a bigger threat shooting the 3, the Lakers would be so much better. One of the reasons Barnes need to start when he gets back. I just think he is better shooter than Artest, he may not have a big frame like Artest but he is a good defender.
