What a shitty game. Happens to every team and I guess we were long overdue. But some troubling symptoms still remain:
- George Hill still hasn't figured out how not to play like a pussy on the road
- Manu is shooting the three at 23% in the RRT, and it looks worse every game
- This turnover problem is becoming an epidemic now. We're finding stupider ways of throwing the ball away in every game.

just pathetic showing tonight

You can't miss that many shots against a super athletic team like Philly. On a side note I was pulling for the 6ers. They needed that win a lot more than the Spurs did.

Well, Neal was 5 of 10 tonight. Much better than a lot of people.
Everyone appeared scared to shoot, except Manu. He doesn't seem to be afraid to take bad shots lately...

So two "first team all SpursTalk" posters are not primary Spurs fans? There might be a revolt.
Not a problem. Iran had a more impartial and fair tabulation of votes.

Call me crazy..but I loved this game.. It was not just egg laying on offense by both teams, but brilliant defense. The 76ers showed great man-to-man defense not allowing almost any open looks and disrupting passes and lanes, while the Spurs played brilliant help defense and provided superb offensive and defensive rebounding nearly the entire game. Too bad, they couldn't find the net on most shots, but it was because mostly the Sixers were making it tough to happen.

This loss was total fucking jackass, 70 points in 48 minutes is an abortion. If Mavs had not got Afflalowned last night then I'd be twice as vexed. Fuck that shit.

I fully expected the Spurs to lose this game tonight. There has to be a reason why they've only won twice in the last 10 years or so there now. Philly just always seems to give the Spurs problems in Philly. Can't explain what it is....it just is what it is...move on.

Well, there is but they can't afford the tickets to the game in this city and the people who can aren't from here. That stadium is 1/2 full most nights, they should cut ticket prices.

The Spurs offense has been damn good all year.
Just move on and not worry about that shitiness of an offensive performance. It happens, it may or may not happen once in the playoffs, who cares.
As long as this doesnt become a trend (no signs of that happening), then chalk it up to fatigue setting in after a retarded stretch of the schedule.
Fuck it.

gary neal played pretty good...what about the rest of the team?????to me the only reason gary neal has been struggling is because of that knee he banged up

I honestly think something must have been wrong with both rims. It's rare to see two NBA teams struggle so much throughout a game.
The way they were mic'd they clearly didn't sound right...it was weird.

Getting the top seed doesn't even matter it the lakers are at the top of their game and they are showing signs of turning it around lately with a convincing win at Boston.
