he's a bum. a multimillionaire and still betting on sports? he'll probably end up penniless and in jail.

I think the bet was that the Spurs would be ahead at the end of the first half last night. He was laying 1.1 to 1, which seems to be pretty good considering the Spurs have the best record and the Wizards were banged up.

Do the odds get better with a bigger bet? I would've bet $100 on that (to win $90.91) in a heartbeat.

This is your average sportsbook voucher. Floyd Mayweather Jr bet 20k on the Spurs 1st line last night. First, can't say he's a bum considering who he and who his father was.

Yes the odds get better depending on the bet. Had he taken the Wiz he might have gotten odds of up to almost 3:1.

Personally, I never bet on the Spurs if there is an opportunity. I think it's bad karma.

What I meant by the odds getting better was the size of the bet, not the team he bet on. Maybe you lay 1.1 to 1 on $20,000, but have to lay 1.5 to 1 on $100, or something like that.

Size doesn't matter. Odds are based on the play not cash. Funny how mayweather had a little more confidence in the Lakers

Gotta find some way to make money when he's too much of a pussy to step in the ring with Manny.

I mean I only bet on the first half which was smart.

Also, I live in Vegas, so cut me a break. I like to make it rain and this gives me some extra rain money.

M Resort is where it's at people.

Same..I've made a lot of money betting against the Spurs, but I avoid betting on them at all costs..seeing them lose the game AND losing my $ is too much IMO..

As for Mayweather, he does this all the time..he's known for his 100 000$ bets..I know a few guys that see him in casino VIP rooms all the time, he's a heavy NBA bettor, and he usually posts his bigger wins on Twitter and whatever else..he won 90 000$ on an Orlando halftime spread a little while ago, IIRC..

As for his money, even though he seems greedy, I don't think he does it strictly for the money, at this point..I'm an avid gambler myself, and I like the thrill, almost as much as I enjoy the $..
