:lol Was this also NOT a timeout? Just a dead ball?
If it's not a timeout, screw them. He should have flopped when they pushed him. That would have been hilarious.

haha, that's hilarious. I must say I'm quite surprised at how passive Rondo was about Wade pushing him, he seems like he's quite the hot-head.

LOL, Boston knows a lot of Miami's players are not mentally tough. Might as well screw with them as much as you can just for fun haha.

I disagree. I think he makes a valid point in this situation, although what ended up happening is probably the right outcome. Rondo tried to see what was going on in the opponent huddle, they pushed him away but not violently.
Also, what is the thread title a reference to? Did I miss a game where TD peered into an opponent's huddle? I thought Chris Webber was known for doing that.

It was not a timeout and all of those Miami guys were on the court, so if you are Rondo you can do whatever you want and where you want.

This is not right and I stand by it. Every play is crucial and doing stupid immature acts like that will ruin our momentum throughout the entire game. Rondo should have been suspended for 2 games for immature nonsense. Rondo was able to get every information from that huddle and that effected the Heat throughout the game.

So if the Heat, during a possession, decided to just start huddling, no opponent should interfere?
If they want to huddle, call a time out. There's no line of scrimmage.

But will it prevent the Heat from surpassing the 72:10 Bulls?

The point is, both JVG and Noah were wrong. If you're not going to spend the timeout, the opposition is entitled to be INSIDE your huddle if it's on the floor.

Did anyone go to that trailblazer game in December? The Coyote was in a christmas tree and started to copy the Trailblazer's clipboard during the timeout. Afterwards he walked and gave it to the Spurs' bench. :lol

If they want to huddle, call a time out. There's no line of scrimmage.
In this particular case, let them go ahead and do it. They will probably run into a 24 second violation. And thanks for the upload of that Duncan gif. I didn't know he did that. I hope he heard something interesting...I'm also assuming some Rocket players pushed him away?

And Adelman's look at Duncan is priceless. He then keeps on talking, probably giving a dummy play.

Agreed that if you aren't going to call a timeout, the opposing players have every right to listen in.
